Cozy Autumn Slytherin

I’m gonna be honest, I love this outfit. Puffer vests are incredibly comfortable and perfect for those cool autumn days. The slouchy hat is also adorable. The boots are great as well. I have a pair of short boots like these and they can be worn with absolutely anything. And we can’t forget about the serpent ring, Slytherin to the core! Hope you like it!

Cozy Autumn Ravenclaw

I’ve probably mentioned this before, but Fall is my absolute favorite season! I love the beautiful New England foliage, the comfy sweaters, and the excessive amounts of pumpkin recipes. I also love fall fashion. It is incredibly easy to be perfectly cozy and cute at the same time, and so much fun too!

This outfit is so great because the giant cable knit sweater will protect against the cold if the plaid shirt isn’t enough! I will never get tired of plaid. I will consider it a wardrobe staple until I die. Not sorry. I’m also obsessed with scarves, and this infinity scarf is very in fashion right now, and super comfy. I hope you like it!

Back to Business Gryffindor

Although sometimes I use fairly bright versions of the Gryffindor colors, subtlety is much better for this type of outfit, so the colors are rather toned down to be more professional. I love that the earrings hang in a similar manner to the ruffles on the blouse! Even though there really isn’t any pattern in this outfit, the ruffle detail and the texture in the jewelry keep it from being too plain. Hope you like it!

Back to Business Hufflepuff

I think that sometimes it’s difficult when looking for a business outfit to find something that is pretty but still professional. No one wants to look boring and stiff but the other end of that can be an outfit that is a little too sexy and inappropriate for work. This outfit strikes a nice balance. The dress is feminine and flattering, and if worn without the cardigan, can be a transition dress to something more casual like a night out for drinks. The light yellow adds some color but isn’t too over the top and the cardigan keeps the outfit modest. I hope you like it!

Back to Business Slytherin

So here is my second installment of the Back to Business series. Slytherin just naturally seems to fit into these outfits. It might be because green is a symbol for money…

Anyway, whatever the reason is, this outfit works really well. I love the bag because it adds some really fun patterns to the basic color blocking of the rest of the outfit. I added the black necklace to add more interest and shape to the outfit. I have actually recently become very interested in fun statement necklaces like this because they can make even just a plain v-neck shirt look so much more interesting or polished. I actually bought two necklaces today…

Hope you like it! Think Green!
