There are just some days when I really just wanna sit on the couch all day and snuggle in a blanket and read a book, or two, or three. Jeans are not equipped for this level of lounging. Hence, the comfy cozy series.
This first outfit in the series just screams comfort. Sweatpants are literally the comfiest thing ever. At BC (where I went to school), there was a “fashion police” that said sweatpants were a fashion don’t and some girls would say that if they wanted to be comfy they just put on their leggings and cashmere sweaters. I say, bring me sweats or bring me death. I think the owl slippers are my favorite part of this outfit though. I love slippers so much, I am rarely in my house for a minute before I put mine on. The pillows aren’t exactly part of the outfit, but you can’t snuggle without pillows, and these seemed especially relevant to theme. Finally, scarves. It should be common knowledge by now that if I’m making a comfy outfit, there has to be a scarf involved. I hope you like it!
So here’s the last post in this Cozy Autumn Series. Once again I’ve used a big comfy sweater and circle scarf, two of my favorite things! I added some pattern with the black and white striped shirt, a wardrobe staple in my humble opinion. I love the maroon cords in this outfit. I actually just bought a pair myself and they are so cute and comfy and my mom steals them from me all the time. My favorite part of this outfit though is the tote bag; it speaks to my own kind of weird, geeky humor. Hope you like it!
The focal point of this outfit is obviously the oversized striped sweater. This sweater just makes me want to curl up on the couch with a hot cup of tea and a long book. Of course there is a scarf involved; I told you I have an obsession! The Ugg boots just heighten the comfiness of the outfit. I know that many people think that Uggs are ugly, but I don’t care; they are warm hugs for my feet.
P.S I am so proud of myself for using two semicolons in this post. I never really know how to use them so I’m practicing! (Nerd alert)
