So I’m back home in Connecticut again, still recovering from the craziness that was Commencement and the end of my college career. I’ve just been hanging around the house, reading, and trying to avoid unpacking. Since my friend Katie (http://ktref.wordpress.com/) has recently started reading Harry Potter for the first time I’ve been getting an urge to read them again so I may start doing that soon.
For now I will get my Harry Potter fix through fashion. Here is another classy outfit, this time for Ravenclaw. Recently I’ve been super obsessed with high-low skirts or skirts with different levels, so this one caught my eye right away. I also love the color (might be one of the reasons I’m a Ravenclaw at heart)! Also, when it comes to the house colors there is a lot of variation. The official colors are Blue and Bronze, with Blue being the identifying color. In a lot of merchandise and products the accompanying color to the blue ranges from yellow to brown to gold. I like to switch it up sometimes and throw in a bit of each depending on what I think the outfit needs. Blue and Bronze tend to get a little bit dark and boring sometimes, so that pop of yellow really brightens things up. Colorful outfits can be very fun, as long as there aren’t too many of them!
